Tabilo are partnering with Ripple Africa with a promise to plant a tree for every Sales Order that you, our customers, place.

Ripple Africa is a charity registered in both the UK and the USA, working to improve the environment and local education in Malawi, Africa. The charity was founded in 2003.

Concerned about deforestation?

So are we. Ripple Africa have started a Forest Conservation and Tree Planting project in Malawi, with 24 million trees planted since the project began in 2006. The Tabilo tree planting initiative will help communities in Malawi to protect existing forests and plant trees.

Inspiring communities to protect forests and wildlife

Ripple Africa work with over 1,830 Forest Conservation Committee members patrolling 340 sq.kms of forest. They educate community members on the problems of deforestation and ensure the conservation bylaws are understood. Anyone caught illegally chopping down trees or starting fires is fined. Once an area is protected, natural regeneration occurs, thus preserving the forest for future generations.

Giving forests the chance to regenerate naturally

By having a sustainable source of timber through the Ripple Africa tree planting project, communities are able to now conserve existing forests with indigenous trees and allow natural regeneration to take place.

Planting trees to protect existing forests

The Ripple Africa tree planting project is one of the largest and most successful tree planting projects in Malawi, providing a long-term solution to fighting deforestation in Africa caused by the destruction of indigenous forest. For every 10 trees they plant they absorb one tonne of carbon.

Tabilo are on a mission to plant 10000 trees by the end of 2025, but we need your help to do this. For every sales order that you place this year we will plant a tree.
